Mr. Brown has spent the past three years as the principal at North Sumner Elementary. Before that, he served as the assistant principal at Joe Shafer Middle School for ten years. Mr. Brown spent the first ten years of his career as a classroom teacher at Westmoreland Middle School.
Mr. Brown is replacing Mr. Danny Robinson.

“It has been an honor to serve as principal of North Sumner Elementary over the past three years,” Mr. Brown said. “I am incredibly grateful to the students, staff, and families who welcomed me so warmly and made this chapter of my career so meaningful.

Now, I’m excited and deeply grateful for the opportunity to return to Westmoreland Middle School as principal, the very place where I began my teaching career 23 years ago.”

Returning to Westmoreland Middle school is coming home, and I’m both humbled and energized by the opportunity to lead and serve in a school that has played such an important role in my life. Doug Brown - Principal
